Six White House staffers have been kicked out of the Trump administration after failing an FBI background check, according to Politico.
The aides were “walked out of the building by security” on Wednesday after failing to pass the “Questionnaire for National Security Positions.”
One of the staffers who was kicked out was Trump’s director of scheduling Caroline Wiles, who was the daughter of Trump’s Florida campaign manager. Sources close to Wiles report she will still be given a job in the Treasury department.
The White House has yet to comment on this latest tumultuous development for an already scandal-plagued administration. The latest Pew Research poll puts the Trump administration at a 39% approval rating, the lowest in modern history for a US president at this point in his tenure.
