Trump Just Responded to the ‘Golden Shower’ Report

As expected, the next President of the United States melted down on Twitter this evening, after Buzzfeed published a report attachment which had been described only generally as incriminating of Trump earlier Tuesday.

The documents, a collection of materials, mostly the memos of a former British Intelligence Officer, contain allegations that Russian intelligence operatives possess video of Trump with a prostitute who is urinating for the PEOTUS.

If there’s anything Trump hates it’s being embarrassed, and apparently bathroom talk is less tolerable to him than the locker room variety.

The answer from Trump we all should have predicted — in a tweet just after 7:00 P.M. Trump labeled the allegations, in all caps, “FAKE NEWS,” the product of a “POLITICAL WITCH HUNT.”

Members of Trump’s team have denied the report’s allegations, or details of the memos.

Trump is alleged to be on video at the Moscow Ritz-Carlton when the, also alleged, golden shower was to have taken place.

Trump most recently tweeted a Lifezette article calling the report “unverifiable.”

The report is indeed unverified, but it is debatable that it is “unverifiable,” as the coming forward of a source for the video and positive identification of Trump in the footage would be pretty convincing evidence.

Trump put “fake news” out there, and Twitter let him know much sympathy they had for his plight:

And as some pointed out, the whole conversation about fake news has quickly become quite often, well, meaningless

Of course, as amusing as the subject matter, and as embarrassing for the PEOTUS, the real concern with the allegations is not that Trump’s carnal exploits are questionable, as has been demonstrated since the Presidential campaign was in full swing.

But if Trump knew he might be implicated somewhere on film, it might affect his decisions and statements regarding Russia. It would be, to put it very mildly, a conflict of interest.
