Twitter’s response to #GoldenShowers report is absolutely HILARIOUS

The hashtag #GoldenShowers is Twitter’s best takedown of Donald Trump to date. And no, it isn’t about the gilded bathrooms in Trump Tower.

After news emerged of an intelligence report prepared by a “veteran” British spy that claims the Russian government has damning video of the President-elect paying sex workers to pee on each other (“golden showers”), Twitter’s political observers and comedians all took their best shot at lampooning the 45th President of the United States for his alleged kinky urine fetish.

As of this writing, the President-elect has yet to respond to the #GoldenShowers trend, though knowing his affinity for the social media platform, he’s definitely seen the hashtag by now.

If true, the allegations of Trump being blackmailed by Russia with embarrassing videos could potentially bring impeachment charges, and possibly treason charges. The federal statute on treason states that “Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States… giving [enemies] aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere… shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years… and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”
