Trump Insists Mexico Will Pay for His Wall. The Former Mexican President’s Response is ‘Fucken’ Brutal|
When it comes to paying for Trump’s proposed border wall, former Mexican President Vicente Fox Quesada has given up all of his chill.
A viral tweet the ex-president fired off on Friday afternoon briskly stated that despite President-elect Trump’s insistence that Mexico would compensate the United States for the border wall he promised, the U.S.’s Southern neighbor would, under no circumstance, offer one peso of financial assistance:
TRUMP, when will you understand that I am not paying for that fucken wall. Be clear with US tax payers. They will pay for it.

Trump ruffled feathers this week when he said American taxpayers would have to initially pay for the wall to “speed” the process of construction, but that Mexico would ultimately pay for his top campaign promise at a later date.
The dishonest media does not report that any money spent on building the Great Wall (for sake of speed), will be paid back by Mexico later!

The Trump transition team has apparently instructed House Republicans to authorize construction of the border wall through a piece of 2006 legislation brought up during the George W. Bush administration.
However silly it may sound, Trump’s stated intent to make Mexico pay for the wall could come to fruition. As President, Trump could use language embedded in the USA PATRIOT Act of 2001 to freeze billions of dollars in “remittances,” or payments that Mexican workers in the U.S. send across the border to their families back home. The move would likely deliver a crushing blow to the Mexican economy. However, Trump said that Mexico could avoid having remittances frozen if the country simply makes a “one-time” payment of $5 billion to $10 billion.
When Trump visited Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto during the campaign season, the current Mexican head of state held fast to his predecessor’s words, saying that Trump would be on his own in paying for the border wall if he won the presidency.
